If you are an EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT seeking IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT at IHC to work with our SOUTHEAST REGIONAL OPERATIONS OFFICE, please submit your application (and resume if available). Description: The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire field operation of a water/wastewater treatment construction site. Candidate shall be able to address any risk areas in order to maintain a safe work environment. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Responsibilities:
  • Perform work on Heavy Civil projects
  • Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
  • Overall management of daily operation of construction projects
  • Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
  • Create and manage project schedule
  • Monitor budgets and controlling cost
  • Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
  • Coordinate subcontractors and construction site organization Qualifications
  • Order material and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process
  • Effectively recruit and train new employees
  • Prepare daily reports and time cards
Skills/Qualifications:
  • prior experience as a Superintendent- 5 years (preferred)
  • 3-5 years water/wastewater treatment plant exposure
  • good communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications
  • familiarity with regulatory construction standards
  • the ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to effectively complete projects on time and within budget
