What You Will Do
  • Design Execution: Execute industrial design concepts for new products, focusing on the realization of approved design directions, including form, proportion, and overall appearance.
  • 3D Modeling & CAD Development: Create and refine high-quality 3D models and surfaces using industrial design tools, ensuring designs are accurate, manufacturable, and ready for engineering handoff.
  • Design Composition & Visualization: Develop clear design compositions, layouts, and visual representations (sketches, renderings, exploded views) to effectively communicate design intent.
  • Design-to-Engineering Handoff: Collaborate closely with mechanical and hardware engineers to translate design concepts into production-ready solutions, addressing feasibility, tolerance, and structural constraints.
  • Prototype Support: Support prototyping and sample evaluation by reviewing physical models and providing design refinements based on feedback.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience We Look for
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design, Art Design, or related fields.
  • Over 5 years of experience in industrial design, with successful hardware product design cases.
  • Familiar with industrial design processes for various product types, knowledgeable about CMF processes and manufacturing workflows, with rich hands-on design experience, and keen insight into global product design trends.
  • Proficient in Rhino, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, Photoshop, Illustrator, familiar with 3D printing tools and operations, and possess excellent hand-drawing skills to quickly and accurately convey design ideas and concepts.
  • Passionate about design work, with strong responsibility and professionalism, attention to detail, pursuit of excellence, and strict standards for design quality.
