What is direct mail data?

Direct Mail Data refers to the collection and management of information used to target recipients for physical mail marketing campaigns. This data typically includes names, addresses, demographics, and purchasing behaviors of potential customers. Professionals working with direct mail data are responsible for ensuring data accuracy, segmentation, and compliance with privacy regulations to maximize the effectiveness of direct mail campaigns. Accurate and well-managed data is essential for reaching the right audience and achieving better response rates. Direct mail data can be sourced internally, purchased from third-party vendors, or built through customer interactions.
