SUMMARY: As an Account Manager or Sr. Account Manager, you will support the Sr Sales Manager/Sales Manager/Sr Account Manager in account development. You will also take ownership of the customer revenue pipeline with deep understanding of customer business. In addition, you will coordinate technical support to develop specific account strategies with direct factory interface.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Account Manager will follow up on day-to-day issues closely with factories and customers on RFQ, PO, WIP and NPI status, supporting forecast data key-in and analysis, tracking work order releases vs forecast and annual plan, monitoring cycle times, collecting basic product information and supporting new project development.

Sr. Account Manager: In addition to the Account Manager responsibilities, other roles include participating in annual Sales plan, preparing quarterly reviews, sales forecasting, market analysis and business opportunity/risk analysis. Preparing RFQ/RFP response with strategic pricing proposal, negotiating business terms, penetrating new projects, and increasing market shares.

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing product development and production throughout the product life cycle from POC to EOL, with coordination between customers and cross-functional supporting teams, and also in charge of sales operations and supply chain management. This responsibility will include continual assessments of the services we offer our customers and our customers’ needs with ASE. Candidates must have a general understanding of subcontract packaging business or similar business model, manage key accounts and have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must enjoy working with people and be able to make sales presentations and proposals. Good organizational and computer skills with the ability to summarize weekly activity in report format will be a requirement for this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Account Manager- ASE prefers a BS degree and/or 2-4 years of sales experience or equivalent, with a general understanding of the IC assembly and test process in the semiconductor industry.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

COMPUTER/SOFTWARE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English and good communication skills are required, fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

MATHEMATICAL & ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Strong foundational math skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data analysis, and data interpretation.

COMPENSATION: Base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $125,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
