Job description

Your Opportunity
At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us "challenge the status quo" and transform the finance industry together.
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
The Digital Integrated & Core Experiences (DICE) organization drives consistent, streamlined digital experiences across Schwab's platforms. Within DICE, the Digital Messaging team owns the platforms and capabilities that deliver secure, scalable, and high-impact messaging to millions of clients and advisors.
In this role, you will serve as a Messaging Content & Enablement Product Manager (individual contributor), responsible for transforming how messages are created, managed, and scaled. You will lead the evolution from a manual, disconnected message creation process to an AI-supported, integrated messaging ecosystem that enables speed, reuse, governance, and consistency. This role focuses on enabling teams to build, update, and scale messaging efficiently through reusable content models, templates, and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own product strategy and transformation by defining the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for messaging content and enablement, leading the shift from fragmented processes to an integrated, AI-powered messaging ecosystem aligned with enterprise strategy and regulatory standards
  • Build scalable content and platform capabilities by developing reusable content models, templates, and modular components, enabling self-service message creation, reducing engineering dependency, and improving visibility into messaging inventory and lifecycle
  • Establish efficient governance and operating models by creating standards and workflows that ensure compliance, consistency, and quality at scale without introducing friction, in partnership with CMS, design systems, and content strategy teams
  • Drive AI-enabled innovation and continuous improvement by integrating automation and AI (e.g., generation, summarization, classification), partnering with data and engineering teams, and using experimentation and analytics to improve messaging effectiveness and efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional delivery and alignment by coordinating across Technology, UX, Content, Risk, Legal, and Operations, managing dependencies and risks, and balancing discovery with delivery to deliver measurable outcomes
  • Influence stakeholders and drive adoption by communicating vision and progress clearly, aligning diverse stakeholders around priorities and tradeoffs, and fostering adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Measure impact and optimize outcomes by defining and tracking KPIs (e.g., build time, reuse, adoption, cost efficiency) and driving a culture of continuous improvement, simplification, and operational leverage
  • Establish shared AI workflows, standards, and playbooks that increase efficiency while preserving design quality, accessibility, and compliance
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Legal to pilot, evaluate, and responsibly scale AI-enabled
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and peers on how and when to use AI effectively, building fluency, confidence, and ethical judgment
  • Use AI-supported insights to inform prioritization, experience strategy, and decision making at both team and portfolio levels

What You're Good At
  • Defining complex problems and delivering scalable platform solutions that unlock efficiency and reuse
  • Leading transformation initiatives that improve processes, tooling, and operating models
  • Applying structured judgment to balance client experience, business value, risk, and feasibility
  • Driving adoption of new platforms, tools, and workflows across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Translating business needs into intuitive, reusable content and system capabilities
  • Collaborating effectively across Product, Engineering, Content, UX, and Risk partners
  • Leveraging data and experimentation to inform decisions and improve outcomes
  • Communicating complex concepts clearly and influencing without authority
  • Operating effectively in ambiguous, high-impact environments

What you have
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of platform or enablement capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience driving operational transformation or process optimization initiatives
  • Documented experience working with content platforms, CMS, or messaging systems
  • Strong understanding of agile product development and lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to deliver results in regulated or complex enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled product capabilities or data-driven product development preferred
  • Financial services experience

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
