Description

The Digital Print Operator is responsible for producing specialized projects in accordance to job specifications and company goals. Coordinates workload schedule to meet time requirements while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Troubleshoots issues and reports problems to supervisor. Works closely with other team members to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Prepares equipment for operations by accessing software in computer; loading paper into printers and plotters; and preparing for output.
  • Receives, prioritizes, and prints requested documents.
  • Maintains operations by monitoring error and stoppage messages; observing equipment; correcting errors and stoppages; making adjustments in process; notifying supervisor for additional resources.
  • Document actions and problems by completing production logs.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and tests; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains supply inventory by checking stock levels; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of received materials.
  • Completes projects by weighing, counting, and packing items for distribution.
  • Resolves user problems by answering questions and requests.
  • Completes special projects, during and after normal business hours, and other duties as assigned
