SHIFT/SCHEDULE:  

This role operates on the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM.  

ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:  
To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4-5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.  

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Digital Print Shop Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up the finisher and inspection machines correctly to run jobs, maintain smooth operations to ensure quality labels are produced on time, and keep the press, finishing and inspection areas clear of waste. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure smooth operation and timely production line pace

Collect and verify all materials stated on the job jacket to complete the next run

Review of job work instructions and tickets

Set up the finisher/inspection machine properly for the job including blades, cores, and copy position

General maintenance routines to ensure the finisher and inspection machine is running at optimal levels

Adjustment of computer software settings for press specifications and quality needs

Examination and quality checks of ink colors and color consistency in products

REQUIREMENTS:

2 - 5 years experience operating commercial print presses or finishers preferred

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Experience with HP Digital printing or holding HP Certification Level I or II (Series 3 Web Certified) is beneficial

High attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds, stand, climb, and bend

Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp/clasp, and manipulate small items

SKILLS:

High attention to detail

Verbal and written communication skills

Multi-tasking and prioritization skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $22.14*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
