Description:

The Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas (CFNEK), a key partner supporting parishes and organizations across the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. This role executes the marketing program by increasing visibility, engagement, development opportunities, and charitable giving. The role supports digital, print, parish, donor, advisor, institutional, and campaign marketing efforts to foster meaningful engagement with key audiences. The Marketing Coordinator is full-time, 40 hours per week and works primarily on-site with minimal evening and weekend work.


Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop mission-aligned marketing and communications that support Foundation priorities, fundraising, donor stewardship, grants, planned giving, parish engagement, events, and Board-approved initiatives. 

· Manage the execution of campaigns and donor-centered content across digital, print, direct mail, and event channels, coordinating timelines, approvals, vendors, platforms, creative assets, and deliverables.

· Partner with the Development team to strengthen engagement with donors, advisors, and Catholic institutions through strategic messaging, stewardship communications, impact storytelling, and educational resources; identify and route qualified leads and opportunities to the appropriate development team member. 

· Maintain and protect the Foundation's brand identity by ensuring all communications accurately reflect its Catholic mission, visual standards, messaging, storytelling, photography, and approved language.

· Monitor campaign performance and marketing analytics, preparing reports and recommendations that measure engagement, identify opportunities for improvement, and support informed decision-making.

· Maintain organized marketing operations and systems, including marketing calendars, digital assets, contact lists, templates, campaign records, and communication procedures to support efficient and consistent execution.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Strong writing, editing, proofreading, message-development, project-management, and deadline-management skills.

· Ability to track engagement metrics and use data to recommend practical improvements.

· Must have intermediate skill level working with webpage software and graphics including typography.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.


Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business, nonprofit management, or related field required.

· Minimum three years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, nonprofit advancement, fundraising support, parish/ministry communications, or a related field.

· Intermediate proficiency managing multichannel marketing and using email marketing tools, content management systems, social media platforms and basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe is preferred.

· Intermediate proficiency with marketing automation, planned giving or fundraising platforms, donor databases, CRM systems, or similar tools is preferred.

· Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace including mail merge function is required.

· Practicing Catholic is helpful and preferred.
