Listing Operations Supervisor (Full Time)


Department: Store Operations

Reports To: General Manager

Location: Denver, CO


Job Summary

This is a mission-critical, high-accountability role where achieving daily production output and maintaining impeccable quality standards are non-negotiable mandates. The Listing Operations Supervisor oversees the creation of every item that goes to auction on our site. They ensure that every item received is accurately identified, graded, and photographed to meet our standards and satisfy our customers. This role manages the high-speed pipeline that converts physical inventory into revenue-generating digital listings. The Supervisor must obsessively audit the output of their team and rigorously police the digital queue, acting as the final, absolute safeguard to ensure 100% compliance with targets and standards.


Responsibilities


Listing Expertise and Coaching:

  • Serve as the resident subject matter expert on all aspects of the listing process, including identification, grading, and content production.
  • Provide immediate, definitive answers and technical guidance to the team, ensuring operational knowledge is robust and consistent.


Verification and Accuracy:

  • Oversee the "Scan-to-Match" process, ensuring the digital listing perfectly matches the physical item, either by aligning with the digital manifest or via online search.


Quality Grading:

  • Develop and enforce standards for condition notes, ensuring customers receive exactly what they expect.


Digital Content Production:

  • Manage the photography and description workflow to ensure high-quality visual representation on the site.


Queue Management:

  • Monitor the Digital Processing Queue to ensure a diverse and steady mix of products is going live daily.


Performance Management:

  • Hire, train, and lead a production team that meets or exceeds listing targets each day.
  • Oversee the correction, performance improvement, and incentivization of all team members.


Leadership:

  • Assist the General Manager in leading the team and act as Person-In-Charge when other managers are not on duty.


Safety:

  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety regulations.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an ecommerce or production environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent with technology and able to use various computer and phone programs to efficiently accomplish tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.


Physical Requirements

  • This role involves sustained physical activity throughout the shift. The following are bona fide requirements of the position:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment.
  • Position requires seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities.
  • Must be able to communicate with others including talking, hearing, and listening and exchanging communication.
