About the role
As an Engineer IV, SAP S/4HANA - Quality, you will lead the Quality workstream within a global ERP transformation program. You'll combine deep SAP expertise with quality engineering principles to design, implement, and optimize scalable solutions that support compliance, manufacturing, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP S/4HANA capabilities align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and enterprise data standards. You will play a key role in shaping system architecture, driving process improvements, and supporting global operations in a regulated environment.
What you'll do
  • Lead configuration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA modules including Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Document Management System (DMS), and Master Data Governance (MDG)
  • Own and drive the Quality workstream within S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including system design, implementation, and rollout
  • Ensure SAP processes and documentation comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory standards
  • Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness
  • Manage engineering change control workflows and technical documentation within SAP
  • Partner with engineering, regulatory, manufacturing, finance, and operations teams to align system capabilities with business requirements
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
  • Develop training materials and provide ongoing support to SAP users
  • Support reporting and analytics to monitor system performance, data quality, and operational metrics
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, ERP systems, or related roles
  • 5+ years of SAP experience, including full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations
  • Experience configuring SAP modules such as QM, MM, and PP
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as medical device, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries
  • Strong understanding of data integrity, validation, and compliance within ERP systems
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM)
  • Experience with SAP Activate and large-scale transformation programs
  • Familiarity with Master Data Governance (MDG) frameworks
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
