Sr Manager Digital Domain - Commercial

Tampa, FL

Full-time

Posted 15 days ago

Job description

We at Yara are part of a global network, collaborating to profitably and responsibly solve some of the world's key challenges - resource scarcity, food insecurity and environmental change.

About the Unit

The Sr Manager Digital Domain - Commercial is responsible for defining and steering how Digital Business Solutions Americas enables commercial performance through a coherent, scalable, and integrated digital commercial domain. The role owns the strategic direction, structure, and integrity of the commercial domain, including the evolution of a regional commercial core that provides a consistent foundation across markets while allowing for necessary local extensions.

Combining strategic intent with strong product and system thinking, the role translates commercial excellence strategy and priorities into a clear domain strategy, product direction, and portfolio of products, solutions, and initiatives. The Sr Manager Digital Domain - Commercial ensures that commercial solutions work together as an integrated system, enabling reuse, reducing fragmentation, and supporting scalable commercial enablement across the Americas, without directly owning delivery execution.

The Sr Manager Digital Domain - Commercial will report to the Sr Director, Domain & Product Strategy. The candidate will be based out of the LATAM, Brazil or NAM region, ideally in Bogota Colombia, Sao Paulo Brazil, Guadalajara Mexico, Buenos Aires Argentina or Tampa US.

Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the commercial domain strategy aligned with commercial excellence priorities and ambitions.
  • Translate commercial excellence needs into a clear digital enablement and product direction across the domain.
  • Define and evolve the regional commercial core (e.g., CRM, customer data), establishing a reusable foundation across the Americas.
  • Set clear boundaries between core capabilities and market or BUspecific extensions, ensuring alignment with global platforms where relevant.
  • Identify overlaps, gaps, and duplication across commercial solutions at market and BU level.
  • Drive consolidation, reuse, and clear decisions on when standardization/reusability versus local solutions are appropriate.
  • Shape and maintain the portfolio of commercial products, solutions, and initiatives across the domain.
  • Ensure strong linkage between domain initiatives, business priorities, and broader Digital portfolio governance.
  • Provide direction to product managers within the commercial domain, ensuring alignment with domain strategy and system architecture.
  • Guide product roadmaps to reflect domain priorities and longterm commercial enablement needs.
  • Ensure strong integration between the commercial domain and other domains, particularly Agronomy and Supply Chain.
  • Drive alignment on shared capabilities such as customer data, workflows, recommendations, and crossdomain enablement.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, or similar); advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of total professional experience in commercial, digital, or enterprise business environments.
  • Strong experience in commercial systems, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), or digital commercial enablement.
  • Strong experience defining strategy, domain direction, or portfolio structures in complex, multimarket or regional contexts.
  • Experience working across business, product, and technology teams within matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes (i.e Segmentation/tiering, territory management and sales force effectiveness, pricing and discount management, sales force incentives, channel loyalty programs, sales process E2E - quotetoorder, fulfillment experience, post-sales).
  • Proven ability to define and steer domainlevel strategy and system architecture.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior audiences.
  • Experience managing tradeoffs between standardization and local flexibility.
  • Exposure to productled, platform, or domaindriven operating models.
  • English (Fluent), Spanish or Portuguese (Highly beneficial).
  • Ability to work across diverse Americas markets.
Additional Information
  • The ideal candidate should be based out of the LATAM, Brazil or NAM region, ideally in Bogota Colombia, Sao Paulo Brazil, Guadalajara Mexico, Buenos Aires Argentina or Tampa US.
  • Candidate should have flexibility to travel occasionally (10%).
  • This role offers a significant opportunity to shape the commercial digital landscape of Yara across the Americas. The Commercial Domain Sr Manager operates with high visibility and influence, working closely with senior business and digital leaders to set direction across a critical domain.
  • The position is well suited for leaders who thrive in complexity, enjoy steering strategy and product direction at scale, and are motivated by building integrated, longterm capabilities rather than isolated solutions. It provides strong exposure across markets and functions, with meaningful opportunities for growth within Digital Business Solutions and Yara's broader leadership landscape.
