Job description

About Citi & DCX
Citi's U.S. Consumer Cards (USCC) business is one of the largest card issuers in the United States, serving millions of customers across a broad portfolio of branded, co-brand, and retail services card products. The Digital & Client Experience (DCX) team sits at the heart of Citi's consumer strategy - our digital experience is Citi's strategy.
DCX manages digital channels that generate over 2 billion annual mobile sessions. With a mandate to run the channel like a channel - balancing service, engagement, and commercial outcomes - DCX is investing in platform modernization, data infrastructure, and AI to deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized experiences at scale.
About the Identify Digital Domain
The Identify Digital domain is the front door to Citi's digital experience. Every customer interaction begins here - and we are accountable for making that first moment fast, secure, and frictionless.
Our domain owns the full spectrum of digital identity experiences across Citi's consumer channels:
  • Digital Onboarding: Registration, Card Activation, and Account Linking
  • Authentication & Access: Login, Biometrics, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Passkeys

We operate as a long-lived digital identity domain - not a collection of isolated projects. Our mandate is to deliver measurable outcomes: improving login success rates, driving biometric enrollment, reducing friction, containing fraud risk, and lowering servicing demand. Every initiative we run is connected to business OKRs, customer impact, and control readiness.
The Role
We are looking for a Digital PM Analyst (C12) to join the Identify Digital domain and support the product strategy and delivery of one or more of our core experience areas - spanning Digital Onboarding (Registration, Activation, Linking) and Authentication (Login, Biometrics, MFA, and Passkeys).
This is a product role designed for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn how great digital products are built and measured. You will work closely with senior product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts - contributing to a domain that millions of Citi customers interact with every single day.
You will be embedded in a "Quadpod" operating model (Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics) and will be expected to bring structure, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to grow into a well-rounded product professional.
What You'll Do
Product Support & Delivery
  • Support product managers in the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap - tracking progress, flagging blockers, and keeping deliverables on schedule.
  • Assist in writing and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation to ensure engineering teams have clear, actionable requirements.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies - sprint planning, standups, retrospectives - and contribute to a team culture of continuous improvement.
  • Help manage and maintain the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Compliance to keep initiatives moving.

Data & Analytics
  • Track and report on key product metrics - including funnel performance, feature adoption, and customer experience indicators - on a regular cadence.
  • Support A/B test setup and results tracking, helping the team understand what is working and what needs to change.
  • Identify data gaps and tagging issues, and work with analytics partners to close them before development begins.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting templates that give the team and stakeholders clear visibility into performance.

Research & Insights
  • Conduct competitive and market research to inform product decisions and keep the team aware of industry trends in digital identity and authentication.
  • Synthesize customer feedback, usability findings, and support data into clear summaries that help the team understand the customer experience.
  • Assist in preparing materials for stakeholder reviews, including decks, data summaries, and status updates.

What We're Looking For
Required:
  • 2-4 years of experience in product management, business analysis, digital strategy, or a related field - or a strong academic background with relevant internship or project experience.
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable working with data, building simple models, and drawing conclusions from metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to organize information clearly and present it to a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented - you follow through, you track things, and you do not let items fall through the cracks.
  • Collaborative and curious - you ask good questions, you listen well, and you are eager to learn from those around you.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple priorities.

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with digital product concepts - user stories, agile delivery, A/B testing, funnel analysis, or product metrics.
  • Exposure to digital banking, fintech, or consumer technology - either professionally or academically.
  • Basic proficiency with analytics or productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
  • Interest in digital identity, authentication, or security domains (Login, MFA, Biometrics, or similar).
  • Experience in a regulated financial services environment is a plus, but not required.

What You'll Learn
This role is designed to accelerate your growth as a product professional. Over time, you will develop:
  • End-to-end product delivery skills - from discovery and requirements through build, launch, and measurement.
  • Data fluency - how to define metrics, read funnels, and use data to make better product decisions.
  • Stakeholder communication - how to synthesize complexity and present clearly to senior audiences.
  • Domain expertise in digital identity, authentication, and onboarding - one of the most strategically important areas in consumer digital banking.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - how to work effectively with Design, Engineering, Analytics, Risk, and Compliance.

Why This Role
  • You will contribute to experiences that every Citi digital customer touches - the login screen, the biometric prompt, the account activation flow. The scale is real from day one.
  • You will be part of a high-performing, recognized domain with executive visibility and a clear strategic mandate.
  • You will work in a Quadpod model that values craft, data, and collaboration equally - a strong foundation for any product career.
  • You will have direct exposure to senior product leaders and a clear path to grow into a full product manager role.
  • You will join a team that invests in your development - with structured onboarding, regular feedback, and a culture that takes talent growth seriously.
