This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.

Candidates who advance in the selection process may be asked to complete a time-limited case study and deliver a brief presentation via a panel interview process. The exercise is designed to assess strategic synthesis, executive storytelling, business judgment and cross-functional thinking.

Role Overview

The Principal Business Strategist for AT&T Digital is responsible for supporting the Director-Chief of Staff and Head of Digital in articulating and communicating AT&T Digital's business strategy through compelling executive storytelling and disciplined strategic execution.

This role will synthesize strategic priorities, transformation initiatives and business performance into clear, cohesive narratives for AT&T's senior leadership team, Board of Directors and other executive audiences. The strategist will work across Digital and its key partners to connect complex information, align executive communications with established KPIs and translate leadership direction into coordinated action.

This role will serve as a senior strategic resource responsible for the quality, consistency and execution of assigned strategic deliverables supporting the Head of Digital and Digital leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the articulation and communication of AT&T Digital's business strategy by developing clear, compelling narratives for senior executive and Board-level audiences.

- Coordinate executive presentations, business reviews and strategic updates, ensuring messaging is concise, consistent and aligned with leadership direction, Digital priorities and AT&T's broader business objectives.

- Synthesize complex business, customer, operational, financial and technology information into executive-level insights, recommendations and decision-ready materials.

- Connect Digital's initiatives and transformation progress to established KPIs, customer outcomes and business performance, clearly communicating results, risks, dependencies and opportunities.

- Partner with Digital leaders and subject-matter experts to integrate cross-functional inputs into a cohesive view of the organization's strategy and execution.

- Support and project-manage priority initiatives as directed by the Director-Chief of Staff, establishing clear deliverables, milestones, owners and success measures while tracking progress and executive commitments.

- Surface emerging themes, gaps and matters requiring leadership attention, providing insights and recommendations to help inform decisions and strengthen execution.

- Build alignment and accountability across Digital and its enterprise partners by facilitating collaboration and influencing teams without direct authority.

- Maintain high standards for message clarity, data integrity, presentation quality and confidentiality.

- Significant experience in business strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or corporate transformation organization.

- Demonstrated success developing strategic narratives and presentations for senior executives, Boards of Directors or other high-level stakeholders.

- Experience supporting complex digital, customer-experience, omnichannel or enterprise transformation initiatives and connecting strategic priorities to measurable business, financial and customer outcomes.

- Strong understanding of digital customer journeys, product development, sales and service channels, operations or technology organizations.

- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional work and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

- Telecommunications, media, technology or a similarly complex industry background preferred.
