Job Title
Digital Business Analyst
Overview / Summary
This role will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering, UX, Operations, and business stakeholders to deliver customer-centric digital solutions. The ideal candidate is experienced in Agile delivery, requirements analysis, process optimization, and translating complex business needs into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation and Documentation
  • Lead discovery sessions and gather business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlog items.
  • Work closely with engineering and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create process flows, business rules, and functional documentation.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and UAT activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery.
  • Perform impact analysis for system, process, and integration changes.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Support production issue analysis and resolution when needed.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to Business Analyst best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in digital product or servicing environments.
  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • Proven ability to write:
    • User stories
    • Acceptance criteria
    • Process flows
    • Functional requirements
  • Experience partnering with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirement sessions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital servicing, customer service platforms, or self-service applications.
  • Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and system workflows.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and process optimization.
  • Exposure to UX/UI collaboration.
  • Basic data analysis experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Postman, Visio, or Miro.
  • Domain experience in property and casualty insurance.
