Who We Are

adMarketplace is the largest global marketplace for Native Search advertising. For over 25 years, we’ve connected brands with consumers at the moment they express commercial intent beyond legacy search engines.

Today, our Native Search solutions are exclusively integrated across next-generation platforms where discovery happens, including web browsers, Buy Now Pay Later apps, and AI chat surfaces. Powered by vector search technology, our platform delivers relevant text and product ads that match consumers with the brands, products, and offers they’re actively seeking.

Our award-winning culture is grounded in the principles of Curiosity, Collaboration, Creative Conflict, Commitment, and Competitiveness – our 5Cs. These values drive us to turn complexity into clarity and create measurable value for consumers, advertisers, and publishers alike.

The Role

As the Director, Advertiser Success, you will lead a team of Advertiser Success Managers responsible for managing their book of business and driving growth across adMarketplace’s strategic advertiser partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Director, Advertiser Success, you will play a key role in developing a high-performing, revenue-focused team that consistently identifies opportunities to expand advertiser investment and deliver exceptional business outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and operates with a high degree of autonomy. You'll coach your team through complex advertiser relationships, establish operational rigor, and create the structure, accountability, and execution standards that enable consistent commercial success.

Working cross-functionally with New Business Sales, Product, Campaign Management, Marketing, and Operations, you'll help translate commercial strategy into day-to-day execution while building a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

Commercial Leadership

  • Coach Advertiser Success Managers to identify and execute opportunities that increase advertiser investment and drive revenue growth.
  • Build a revenue-first culture by developing the team's commercial acumen, consultative selling skills, and strategic thinking.
  • Guide the team through complex advertiser opportunities, helping them build business cases and navigate enterprise organizations.
  • Support executive client engagements and strategic business reviews alongside the Senior Director as needed.
  • Attend face-to-face advertiser meetings and lead key portions of upsell presentations, helping position solutions and drive incremental investment.

Organizational Leadership & Team Performance

  • Serve as a player-coach by directly supporting strategic account work while leading, coaching, and developing a team of Advertiser Success Managers to drive client success through others and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Operate independently by setting priorities, making decisions, and driving execution with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct regular performance and development conversations, providing actionable coaching and removing obstacles to success.
  • Establish clear expectations and performance standards while empowering the team to execute autonomously.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish the operating cadence for the team, ensuring visibility into priorities, strategic initiatives, and execution against business objectives.
  • Drive disciplined account planning, forecasting, CRM hygiene, and operational consistency across the organization.
  • Ensure client engagements are well prepared with executive-ready materials, clear objectives, and actionable follow-up.
  • Build scalable processes that improve efficiency, execution quality, and accountability.
  • Monitor team performance, proactively identifying risks, removing roadblocks, and driving operational improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Campaign Management, Marketing, and Operations to improve workflows and support client success.

Strategic Leadership

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support executive-level advertiser engagements.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Campaign Management, and Marketing to align on client priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Leverage advertiser insights and market feedback to inform business decisions and improve the client experience.
  • Champion best practices that strengthen commercial execution and operational excellence across the Advertiser Success organization.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience managing and growing enterprise advertiser or brand relationships within digital advertising, performance marketing, search, AdTech, or commerce media.
  • Experience selling directly to brands with a proven track record of growing existing business through upselling, renewals, and budget expansion.
  • Experience selling performance media solutions and translating advertiser goals into measurable business outcomes.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing customer-facing teams.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to conduct needs analyses, identify opportunities, and position solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and building long-term executive relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use performance data and insights to shape client strategy and identify growth opportunities.
