Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Global Digital Experience Manager to lead the transformation of Garlock’s digital ecosystem.

This role will drive the evolution from a fragmented, regionally managed digital presence to a scalable, integrated global platform that supports customer acquisition, engagement, and growth. The ideal candidate brings strong digital strategy experience, hands-on platform expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional execution across global teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap for a single global web and eCommerce platform, replacing multiple regional systems
  • Establish governance for digital platforms, including CMS structure, templates, UX standards, and brand consistency
  • Lead the design and optimization of the end-to-end digital customer journey, from discovery through purchase
  • Drive integration of centralized product data to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Build and scale globally aligned eCommerce capabilities to support digital revenue growth

Marketing Automation & Digital Demand Generation

  • Define and lead the global marketing automation strategy
  • Build and scale automated lead generation, nurturing, and conversion workflows
  • Integrate marketing automation with CRM and digital platforms to create a connected commercial ecosystem
  • Partner with Global Marketing Communications and Global Market Development to enable campaign execution, lead management, and performance tracking
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and ROI
  • Drive adoption of marketing automation capabilities across regions through training, standards, and best practices

Customer Experience & Optimization

  • Partner with regional marketing teams to enable localized execution within global standards
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve conversion rates, usability, and overall digital performance

Data, Analytics & Performance

  • Develop and implement digital analytics capabilities, including performance tracking, reporting, and continuous optimization
  • Own SEO/GEO strategy, website content structure, and ongoing content optimization efforts
  • Use data and insights to drive continuous improvements in customer experience and campaign outcomes

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with IT, product management, sales, and marketing stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
  • Align digital, eCommerce, and marketing automation initiatives with overall commercial strategy

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build, lead, and develop a global digital team, providing direction, coaching, and capability development
  • Establish scalable processes, documentation, and governance to support global consistency and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of advanced education and progressively responsible experience
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or digital platform management
  • Proven experience leading website, eCommerce, or marketing automation transformations, ideally in a global environment
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of CMS platforms, UX design, SEO, and digital analytics tools
  • Experience integrating digital systems (CRM, product data, analytics, automation platforms) into a cohesive ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across regions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate strategy into execution

  • Experience in B2B industrial or manufacturing environments
