A Diesel Supervisor typically oversees a team of diesel mechanics, assigns work orders, monitors progress on repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensures all safety and quality standards are met. Daily tasks often include troubleshooting engine and equipment issues, coordinating parts ordering and inventory, maintaining detailed maintenance records, and training staff on the latest procedures and regulations. In addition, Diesel Supervisors regularly communicate with management and other departments to align maintenance schedules with operational needs. A Diesel Supervisor oversees the maintenance, repair, and operation of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. They manage a team of mechanics, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and coordinate schedules for servicing and repairs. Additionally, they monitor inventory levels, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure efficient workflow. About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Service Diesel Technician to join our team. Earn up to $30.00 per hour depending on experience and six (6) pay checks a month when bonus is included. As a Service Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. You will work closely with our team of mechanics to ensure that all vehicles are running efficiently and safely. Your expertise in diesel engines will be crucial in ensuring that our fleet is always in top condition. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly bonus, competitive compensation and benefits packages.
