J.J. Nichting is looking for a proven Diesel Technician who knows their way around ag equipment and takes pride in keeping farmers moving when it matters most. What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines on agricultural equipment
  • Work on tractors, combines, harvesters, sprayers, loaders, and irrigation engines
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime during peak seasons
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and drivetrain systems
  • Use modern diagnostic tools and computerized engine software
  • Communicate clearly with customers and supervisors about repairs and timelines
  • Step up during planting and harvest when farmers need us most

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of hands-on diesel experience, or diesel degree plus field experience
  • Technical training in diesel technology, agricultural mechanics or heavy equipment repair
  • Confident working independently and solving problems in the shop and field
  • Ability to read schematics, manuals, and service information
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
