Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Barry is currently seeking applicants for an Operator 2. The Operator 2 is responsible for machining and/or producing electronic components.
Job Location:
Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA that is conveniently located near the main highways as well as some highly recommended restaurants. There are 70 employees across two shifts working at our 40,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This would be an on-site position. Second shift hours are 3:45 PM to 12:15 AM.
What you will be doing:
  • Setup and Operate Dice machines in order to singulate resistors to size.
  • Perform loading, unloading, alignments, cleaning, and maintain Dicing machines.
  • Inspect parts and remove rejects.
  • Empty chemical waste containers into 55 gallon drums
  • Operator will also Mount, Demount, Boil and Tin product.
  • Complete work accurately by following written instructions and adhere to required safety rules.
  • Operator will work under limited supervision
  • Pay rate is $20- $23 hourly. 10% differential will be added for second shift operators

What you will bring along:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform work under a microscope and able to identify defects.
  • Strong hand eye coordination required.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of machine operation and microscope experience, and understanding of measurement tools.
  • Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
  • Must be able to learn new products quickly, accomplish goals, work independently and be highly motivated.
  • Technical understanding a plus.
