This role is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA or New York, NY
This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a large part in driving Hilton's growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our ever-growing portfolio! As a Development Operations Analyst, you will partner with our Developers, owners, and investors to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate and leverage our global expertise to develop our industry leading brands. On the Global Development Operations team reporting to the VP Global Development Operations, you will focus on supporting Luxury, Lifestyle, and Residential deals across the US and Canada.
What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Identify and evaluate new development opportunities by reviewing site materials, conducting preliminary market and brand assessments, analyzing data to identify leads/opportunities, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate development pipeline reporting, transaction materials, and internal diligence documentation across cross-functional stakeholders. Utilize the Business Intelligence tools to research markets, analyze performance data, and uncover potential opportunities or restrictions for development.
  • Create and develop visual presentations for the Development team. Pull, research, or enter data into spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and/or databases, and synthesize the data into clear, client- and executive-facing narratives.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Organize internal and external meetings, conferences, and owner presentations in support of development pursuits and strategic relationship management.
  • Maintain and promote good relationships with all team members within Legal, Business Analytics, AD&C, Operations, Feasibility, Brand, Communications, Commercial, Marketing, Loyalty, and other Hilton departments to streamline the development process.

Projects you'll take ownership of:
  • Assemble and circulate data and analyses related to growth and pace.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and brand positioning analyses to support underwriting, feasibility, and development strategy. Coordinate the analytics contributions to the development department's external and internal events such as ALIS, NYU, Lodging, all local real estate conferences and development forums.
  • Coordinate the assembly and distribution of deal informational packets for development.
  • Establish procedures and processes to support development goals.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of work experience in analytics, real estate development, hospitality, consulting, investment analysis, or related fields
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, STR, COGNOS, Co-Star, ArcGIS, Complex Databases.
  • High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Travel up to 30%.
  • Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA or New York, NY

It would be useful if you have:
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience using Lodging Econometrics
  • An understanding of hotel metrics and hotel branded landscape in the US and Canada

The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $85,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
