Job description

Position:Federal Business Development Representative
Job Description:

This role is responsible for capturing and managing public sector opportunities, with a primary focus on contracts approaching recompete. The position will engage with key decision-makers to monitor deal progression and identify strategic touchpoints. Additionally, the role will lead the coordination and optimization of RFx distribution feeds, ensuring all available tools and resources are effectively leveraged on behalf of our suppliers and partners. The individual will also nurture high-priority opportunities surfaced through market intelligence, driving alignment with partner and supplier interests.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for the assessment of existing and potential customers, defining product needs, and sales execution within the Federal market. Continuous relationship development between the business area, regional teams and the manufacturers to ensure a trust and support of business objectives. Budget responsibility for all assigned business development areas.

  • Defines and tracks performance for products and services.

  • Coordinates opportunity development of both net new as well as existing customers.

  • Relationship management with regional staff in all vertical markets.

  • Works cross functionally with market intelligence analyst in public sector vertical market.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5 years of business development experience within Federal market with a 4 year degree; or equivalent experience.

  • Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures

  • Serves as an expert within own discipline

  • Serves as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projects

  • Trains/mentors junior staff

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: 2 days in office/3 days work from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$110,400.00 - $121,440.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
