Position Overview:
Take2 is excited to add a Vice President (VP) of Federal Business to our growing company and leadership team. This person will manage, direct, and coordinate a portfolio of business development efforts needed to accelerate the growth of Take2 in agile development, cloud, data analytics, and/or cybersecurity support services, specifically in the Federal space. The person should be a highly motivated and experienced key member of Take2 and will be responsible for setting up and executing part of the company's Federal sales strategy for growth and future success.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop the 3-5-year Take2 Federal business development strategy and execution plan that helps to ensure net new growth in line with a fast-growing mid-sized business for pre-award and post-award prime, subcontracting, and/or staffing support services. The business plan should include growth strategies for Civilian, Intel, and DoD agencies.
  • Drive a portion of the Federal client sales strategy, including assessing agency, opportunity, and integrator procurement activities and aligning/positioning Take2 for successful Federal account growth with prime integrators. Develop the pipeline plan that ensures annual new revenue business growth is achieved.
  • Grow Revenue organically by managing a portfolio of over $75mil through excellent client relationship building skills, project delivery, and strategic teaming efforts.
  • Develop the Federal client/partner (agency and key integrator/teaming partners) marketing and outreach strategy to include agency/account plans, pro-active in-person networking, key client meeting planning, and attendance at major industry events with a prebuilt ROI plan.
  • Build a "client for life" culture through frequent forward client-facing/in-person outreach initiatives with existing and potential clients. Determine events where Take2 resources can support sponsorship or speaking support to increase brand awareness.
  • Develop repeatable and disciplined Federal agency pipeline and capture strategies, milestones, and gate reviews demonstrating progress on the execution of growth tactics.

  • Translate Take2's technological capabilities and expertise into clear customer messaging.
  • Work closely with the proposal center of excellence/BD support team to ensure past performance, corporate capabilities, and marketing materials accurately reflect Take2 differentiators and capabilities for sales support.
  • Serve as a sought-after Federal BD expert at Take2, leading several corporate training initiatives, supporting junior sales staff in growth activities, and providing frequent updates to sales strategy best practices.
  • Lead Take2's prime pipeline, capture, and proposal strategy for winning new contract vehicles and annual prime revenue on existing Take2 vehicles, such as GSA MAS.
  • Work collaboratively with key Take2 stakeholders (e.g. Local Market teams, Strategic Programs, Operations, Support, etc.) to achieve new growth goals.
  • Develop executive presentations/status reports/account plans/competitive analysis for the leadership team
  • Serve as a member of the Take2 Federal leadership group. Manage and/or collaborate with a team of 4-5 Federal Sales and Delivery resources. Develop quarterly KPIs and net new revenue goals that the team can achieve.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience in Business Development and/or Delivery in the Federal Market

Qualifications:
  • Strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills, oral and written and can lead a disciplined sales process
  • Proven experience generating, leading, and winning prime and/or subcontracting work, and supporting Federal IT contracts at one or more of the following Federal clients and/or integrators: DHS, Treasury, HHS, DOD, Intel
  • Proven relationships with senior decision makers at large Federal system integrators and/or Federal Civilian government agency staff based upon excellent IT and/or talent support
  • Preferred experience with marketing and selling agile development, cloud, data analytics, and/or cybersecurity support services.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and closing skills and demonstrated client focus.
  • Possess a strong drive for results and success; convey a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations; persist despite obstacles, setbacks and competing influences.
  • Expert level proficiency with Federal contracting tools such as GovWin, G2X, HigherGov, tc. Experience with Technomile, Salesforce, or other capture tools required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners by building personal credibility and trust.
  • Demonstrated experience with the federal procurement process, capture, RFP support, contract ramp-up, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Proven experience managing a $100M+ pipeline.
  • Ability to self-motivate and self-direct.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM tools)
