Prologis is seeking an Associate Development Manager for our Mountain Southwest Development Team, working on projects in the Phoenix, Las Vegas and Reno markets. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for career growth, providing hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle of industrial and warehouse facilities while working alongside experienced development professionals and preparing for increased leadership responsibilities. This position supports development activities for land and building developments including land pursuits, due diligence, entitlements, design and construction of industrial / warehouse facilities (both speculative and build-to-suit (BTS)) and associated tenant improvements. The position requires creativity, self-awareness, decisiveness, and a pronounced collaborative spirit that is defined by a track-record of positive engagement, and successful consensus and team building. The position will reside in Prologis's Phoenix office and will interact daily with Prologis Development, Capital Deployment and Leasing teams throughout the Region. The position reports to the VP, Development Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support Development Management team in execution of development projects for Build-to-Suit, Speculative, & TI projects. The work is focused on entitlement/permitting, design, and construction.

  • Consistently and effectively deliver TI & speculative building projects exceeding customer expectations

  • Responsible for accurate monitoring, collection, management, and reporting of project data including jobsite safety, cost, quality and schedule performance

  • Primary responsibility is to consistently deliver high-quality results for Prologis stakeholders (both internal and external) through exceptional performance.

  • Challenge architects, engineers and contractors to drive performance (e.g, schedule, specs, means and methods, and budgets)

  • Run efficient meetings with clear objectives and outcomes

  • Keep stakeholders updated and seek appropriate input

  • Promote collaborative and resilient mindset, open to change and growth

Building blocks for success
Required:
  • 3+ years of combined experience working in the field of real estate development and construction management.

  • Computer proficiency: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Google Earth, Bluebeam, Autodesk Forma.

  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be enthusiastic, maintain a positive attitude, be a good team player and customer service oriented.

  • Be proactive in approaching solutions and problem solving.

  • Work well under pressure.

  • Be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Promote a positive, can-do attitude with a real focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred:
  • A Bachelor's of Science in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (Civil or Structural).

  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

Hiring Salary Range of: $82,400 - $123,600. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
