Job Description:
Exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team in Lewisburg, OH within the Quality & Food Safety Function as the Lab Management Lead. The Purpose of the role is to lead team of lab technicians and implement effective laboratory management process ensuring efficient delivery of services comply with quality control and compliance.
What are we looking for?
Food science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent BSc. MSc degree is preferred.
Experience of quality assurance or lab management from Food/ Nutritional/ Pharmaceutical or related manufacturing/ testing sites.
Experience of testing experience in analytical or microbiology, knowledge and experience of GMP, GLP and audit is required.
People management experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
Establish, follow and continuously improve quality system in lab
Manage routine activities related to base and finish products test, incoming raw materials, package materials check, sensory evaluation etc.
Manage external lab test and communicate with GAIT and regional lab.
Ensure test equipment and test method transfer and validation
Implement SOP/GLPs to ensure reliability and compliance to standards
Work with supplier management team to ensure materials quality and follow up CAPAs
Maintain EHS working conditions and practice in assigned area.
