Overview
WHO are we looking for?
The Advisor Group is in search of a Business Development Senior Associate to help support the organic growth of the wealth management business for this rapidly growing and collaborative organization. The Business Development Senior Associate will engage with financial advisors, internal and external partners in wealth management, to support opportunities that generate new revenue, improve client retention, and further other business interests. The Business Development Senior Associate will work closely with internal and external partners to develop and deepen relationships in support of the organic growth initiatives established by the firm. Strong relationship management, project management, and technical knowledge will be essential to success in this role. The Senior Associate will be expected to be an active collaborator with advisors and the leadership team to find creative solutions as we work to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
  • CAPTRUST internal referral programs (Bridge): project management, sales support, sales reporting, and lead flow administration
  • External referral program management with well-known custodians: event planning, sales support and lead flow administration
  • Advisor development programs: coordination and support for ongoing sales training and advisor development initiatives
  • Sales reporting and analytics: utilize MS PowerBI tools to support the leadership team with practice management at the firm and local level
  • Advisor support: assist advisors with sales support related needs at the direction of the wealth management leadership team
  • Collaborate with other departments within CAPTRUST on sales enablement content, advisor onboarding and operations

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant financial services industry
  • Prior experience in a relationship manager, business development, or sales support role
  • Solid understanding of the wealth management and retirement plan consulting space
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics 365, and Teams
  • Familiarity with Fidelity, Schwab, Smart Asset, and TDA platforms preferred
