Overview

Join a leading engineering organization at the forefront of innovation in nuclear infrastructure. This role sits within a highly specialized engineering team responsible for delivering complex civil and structural solutions for major nuclear projects in Canada. You will play a critical leadership role within the civil and structural engineering discipline, contributing to the safe, compliant, and successful delivery of largescale engineering programs.

Your Role

  • Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design, including functional, performance, environmental, and seismic requirements.
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals.
  • Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering Designation an asset
  • Ability to apply advanced civil/mechanical engineering expertise within largescale EPC and nuclear environments.
  • Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and providing clear, directional leadership.
  • Aptitude for interfacing with regulatory authorities and managing compliance documentation.
  • Ability to work within complex regulatory frameworks, including nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in managing engineering delivery across refurbishment and newbuild projects.
