Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at our organization, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand patients' mental health histories and to inform personalized treatment plans.
  • Implementing various therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) based on individual patient needs.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and timely clinical documentation that meets HIPAA standards and legal regulations.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to create an integrated care plan tailored to each patientโ€™s unique challenges.
  • Providing psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development, including participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to continuously improve care delivery.
  • Managing a caseload of clients, ensuring that treatment goals are met, and regularly reviewing progress to adjust interventions as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily those in detoxification and early recovery from substance use disorders, as well as individuals presenting with co-occurring mental health disorders. The population you serve can vary significantly in age, background, and specific needs, requiring a flexible and adaptive approach to therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license to practice in California.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, with a proven track record in providing psychotherapy services.
  • Strong grasp of solution-focused therapeutic interventions, including evidence-based practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
