Key Responsibilities
  • Actively engage with patients and their families to create individualized aftercare plans, assessing their unique needs and challenges in transitioning from detox to ongoing support.
  • Utilize conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to manage resistance within clients, guiding them towards positive behavior change and increased engagement in their recovery journey.
  • Thoroughly document all interactions, assessments, interventions, and case closures in patient records, adhering to established social work and healthcare standards to promote continuity of care.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the DSM diagnostic criteria, employing it to accurately assess and address the psychological and developmental needs of clients, particularly adolescents and families.
  • Implement therapeutic techniques, including behavior modification and assertiveness training, to assist clients in developing healthier coping mechanisms and improving overall mental well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Clinical Social Worker will primarily work with individuals in the detoxification phase of recovery, as well as their families. Qualifications
