In this remote role, you will leverage your expertise to provide comprehensive psychotherapy and case management services to clients at our detox center in Moreno Valley, California. Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Our detox center serves a diverse clientele, requiring sensitivity and responsiveness to various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Our interdisciplinary team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCCs), and case managers. Here, you will be supported by administrative staff who will handle billing and scheduling, allowing you to focus entirely on client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, couples, or family therapy sessions, tailoring each approach to meet specific client needs and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client strengths and challenges, then devise and implement detailed client-centered treatment plans.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, provide crisis interventions when necessary, and be prepared to adjust treatment modalities to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with various professionals across the organization to ensure integrated and cohesive care for all clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, adhering strictly to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in case consultations and clinical team meetings, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Commit to professional development and stay informed about evidence-based practices and ongoing changes within the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals in detoxification programs who may be dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will utilize your trauma-informed care expertise to address the complex needs of clients, providing them with the tools necessary to navigate their recovery journey effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
  • Active California LCSW license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in clinical settings, particularly in outpatient care.
  • A solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles and proficiency in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is highly desirable.
