Job description

Desktop Support Technician

Location: 800 Cabin Hill Dr, Greensburg, PA 15601

Work with onsite team doing computer builds and adhoc software/hardware repairs with minimum 3 years of desktop support experience.

Primary day-to-day responsibilities will entail creating and resolving desktop issues for First Energy employees onsite and remote. Primary duties will include standard desktop/laptop break/fix items:

  • Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
  • Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications.
  • Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference).
  • Monitor calls, incidents, and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool.

Top 2 required skills that candidates must have:

  • Great customer service.
  • Desktop support (Win10 and Office 365).

Work schedule for this position: (M-F) 8am-5pm. Overtime? No. On-call? No.

Overall years of experience required: 12-24 months enterprise desktop support.

Specific certifications or education needed: CompTIA A+.

Conversion rate for contract to hire: Not more than $24/hr.
