CoolIT Systems is seeking aProject Manager Team Leadto lead a team of NPI Project Managers while managing the successful execution of complex product development and continuous improvement projects. Based in Calgary and reporting to the Product department, this role oversees project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics for advanced liquid cooling solutions, including CDUs and PCLs. Working with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and production, the successful candidate will drive project delivery, team development, and operational excellence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Superviseand coach Junior and Intermediate NPI Project Managers
  • Develop andimprove NPI Project Management processes
  • Serve as a single point of contact for Value Stream Leaders on projectstatus and risks
  • Lead and manage projects removing any roadblocks that get in the way of execution
  • Collaborate withcross-functional product development teamsand ensure best practices are followed
  • Support company continuous improvement projectsas needed
  • Measure and report project status usingappropriate tools,techniquesand metrics
  • Useappropriate changemanagement processesin order tominimizeand reportchanges in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Hold regular meetings to ensure team members communicate effectively and ensure that all program risks areidentifiedand managedina timelyfashion
  • Communicate project status to management and other stakeholders via presentationsandproject tracking tools
  • Mayrequireweeklycallswithproject teams in the APAC region

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managingNew Product Introduction (NPI) projectsrelated to electromechanical designs.
  • Experience managingcontinuous improvement projectsin an NPI and Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiencywith:
  • PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
  • Project Management tools (especiallyClickUp)
  • ERP systems (especially NetSuite or Oracle)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managingsoftware and firmware development projects.
  • Experience withGitHub.
  • Experience withMES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
  • Experience usingAI tools for Project Management.
  • Strong interest in and passion foremerging technologies.
