Reports To: Sales Manager


Innovative Office Solutions is a progressive provider of office productivity solutions.  Making workplaces more productive with office products, furniture & design, facility & break room supplies, print & graphic design, promotional products, and technology solutions.

As an Account Manager for Innovative Office Solutions, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer satisfaction by effectively handling customer sales inquiries and introducing new products and promotions, through inbound and outbound sales calls. You will work with various teams throughout the company to maximize the customer experience by understanding customer needs and providing support and effective solutions. You must also be comfortable building relationships with new and existing customers, generating interest in the product lineup, and closing sales.
 
 

Essential Functions of the job include:

  • Responsible for initiating sales, quoting, and order taking
  • Cultivate existing customer relationships and onboarding new customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers in the designated market 
  • Proactively analyze customer buying trends and recommends appropriate products or services to continually grow revenue
  • Maintains frequent contact with customers via various communication methods
  • Meet and exceed sales goals
  • Document customer calls, sales activity, and other customer/prospect info 
  • Develop new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Partner with category specialists to grow customer revenue
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns 
  • Close new accounts by filling out appropriate forms and follows new account procedures
  • Updates knowledge by learning new products or learning more about each of our categories
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Team up with the Innovative category specialists to build pipeline and close deals
