Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Tech in North Carolina! New Grads Welcomed to Apply!

  • All different shifts/schedules available
  • $27-$40+/hourly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures patient demographic, emulsion markers, and examination requested are correct
  • Critiques, orients, and saves all pertinent images
  • Transmits QA-ed images to PACS
  • Documents completion and/or cancellation of all procedures in RIS
  • Maintains image management equipment
  • Performs quality radiographic images on a consistent basis
  • Reviews radiographic orders, images, and patient demographic information for accuracy
  • Utilizes RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS effectively for accessing information and documenting procedures
  • Verifies patient identity, obtains relevant patient history, and assesses physical condition
  • Assists patients requiring extra attention and reacts to emergency situations to ensure patient safety
Required Education:
  • Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • ARRT Certified in Radiography
  • Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
