Position Summary:As a Global Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a reliable global demand demand planning process to support the company’s Sales & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Your core mission is to work with our strategic customers in the submittal od their demand plans customer needs—across both legacy and new products (NPIs)—by consolidating inputs from Sales, Marketing, sites operational teams, and through collaborative demand planning with key customers, and engaging with supporting site supply chain leaders and master planners.

You will lead the monthly demand planning cycle, ensure ERP master data integrity with corresponding site supply chain leaders, in planning tools, and drive alignment between commercial expectations and supply chain capabilities. By fostering close partnerships with strategic customers, you will enhance Demand visibility, improve responsiveness to market trends, and contribute to customer satisfaction and supply assurance.

This role is instrumental in aligning commercial ambition with operational execution, ensuring accurate demand signals to drive planning and decision-making. Reporting to the SIOP Director, the position is based in the USA (Kenosha WI, Bonita Springs FL or Athens, AL).

Key responsibilities:

Demanding & Demand Planning

  • Lead the monthly demand Demanding process, consolidating and validating data from key customers in collaboration with global sales teams and market insights.
  • Liaise directly with key account mangers (KAMs) (joining sales customer appointments as relevant):
    • oResponsible for high visibility of customer demand and requirements
    • oDrive customer collaboration pertaining to demand management, understand demand on program/ SKU level 3-18 months.
  • Establish and maintain a deep knowledge of market dynamics, business plan assumptions, and future commercial focus.
  • Accountable to work with key account managers and customer supply chain leaders / master planners to validate inputs and ensure that demand signals are reflected in customer demand plan
  • Analyses of Exalta historical trends, events impacts (out of stock, exceptional orders), and market dynamics to build a robust statistical baseline
  • Drive demand consensus with key internal stakeholders (Commercial, Site Leaders and Site Supply Chain Managers and Master Planners) and integrate agreed Demands into planning systems (IntuiFlow -SkuScience Demand Planning)
  • Develop and maintain collaborative demand planning routines with key customers, aligning demand signals to improve visibility, responsiveness, and supply chain performance.
  • Capture accurately the demand emerging from CDMO+ business.
  • Identify demand plan gaps against financial objectives and business plans, flag them for SIOP discussions and potential revisions.

Product Lifecycle, including New Product Introductions (NPIs)

  • Serve as the primary demand planning interface for NPIs demand planning, working closely with NPI teams, and launch site Supply Chain Leaders from early project phases to post-launch stabilization.
    • oTrack project calendars to align demand signals with launch timelines.
    • oWorking with Site Supply Chain Leaders and Exalta Key Account Managers to secure early input into demand plans to allow long-lead planning and capacity reservation
    • oUpdate demand plans iteratively based on customer feedback, order trend post-launch
  • Support Make-to-Stock product list reviews with site supply chain leaders on a quarterly basis, through detailed demand plans to enable decision-making for products which may transition to make to order.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with site Supply Chain leaders in regional and country supply chain networks and communities.
  • Actively support the long-term planning process and initiate/participate in SIOP meetings as needed.
  • Partner with Supply Planning to translate demand into actionable production and procurement plans.
  • Ensure regular Demand communication with Site Supply Chain Leaders, Operations, Finance
  • Contribute to the monthly SIOP cycle by presenting demand trends, risks, and opportunities.

Data & System Management

  • Manage demand planning entries and updates in planning systems (IntuiFlow Demand Planning)
  • Working with site Supply Chain leaders to Support improvement in ERP master data quality, segmentation logic, and statistical Demanding models into the Group Datawarehouse and systems
  • Working with the Supply Chain Transformation to in the development of Power BI dashboards to enhance visibility and control
  • Accountable to identify improvement opportunities i.e., establish a framework that allows to reflect market requirements in factory planning processes.
  • Monitor KPIs including Demand accuracy, Demand bias, and product-level Demand adherence.
  • Identify root causes of variance and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of demand patterns and recommend Demand model adjustments.
  • Contribute to best practice sharing and cross-functional training on Demand processes.
  • Running Action Item List (RAIL) on projects to drive improvement working with Supply Chain Transformation Team.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI):

  • OTIF (On-Time In-Full) by customer, for NPI and Legacy products
  • Total Lead-Time adherence, segmented by customer and by site.
  • Inventory level vs target (global and by site)
  • Demand Waterfalls implemented by product families for Strategic Customer Demand Plans to drive continuous improvement with our strategic customers.
  • Demand Planning support for approved NPI projects through pre-launch and launch.
  • Timeliness and completeness of demand planning cycles

Profile & Qualifications:

  • BSBA in Business Management, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or related engineering/business discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in demand planning, preferably in med device / discrete manufacturing environment
  • Strong expertise in demand management methods, demand modelling, Oliver Wight SIOP /IBP principles
  • Familiarity with NPI processes and cross-functional product launches
  • Proficiency with ERP (SAGE, Epicor) and advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis, Intuiflow) and business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Highly skilled in Excel, data modelling, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • APICS CSCP preferred
  • Ability to lead without authority and influence diverse global stakeholders.
  • Native in English; French could be a plus.
