Director, Digital Demand Generation & Growth Marketing - Remote Eligible Build and optimize a revenue-focused digital demand engine across paid channels and campaigns

Location: Camden, New Jersey

About The Role Director Of Digital Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

VAST Data is the AI Operating System company, redefining how organizations build and operate intelligent systems at scale.

As enterprises, AI-native companies, and cloud providers move from isolated models to fully operational AI systems, the need for a unified data and compute platform has become mission-critical.

About the Role

We're looking for a Director of Digital Demand Generation & Growth Marketing to lead our Paid Media and Campaigns team and build a modern, AI-powered demand engine.

This is a revenue-first leadership role responsible for generating qualified pipeline through digital marketing. You'll own strategy, execution, and optimization across paid channels and integrated campaigns, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to accelerate growth.

Success in this role is measured by business outcomes and not marketing activity.

Responsibilities

  • Own digital demand generation strategy across paid media and integrated campaigns.
  • Lead and develop the Paid Media, Campaign and Content Operations team.
  • Drive net new lead generation, marketing-sourced pipeline, and revenue contribution.
  • Optimize the entire demand funnel from Lead → MQL → SQO, improving conversion rates and pipeline velocity.
  • Manage paid acquisition across Search, LinkedIn, Display, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Lead the Content Operations function to ensure content lifecycle management, CMS governance, and repurposing workflows are optimized to fuel paid media and campaign performance.
  • Build a culture of testing, measurement, and continuous optimization using data and attribution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Field and Event Marketing Managers, Comms and Marketing Operations to maximize pipeline impact.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve campaign execution, lead management, and marketing efficiency.

AI Experience

We're looking for a leader who understands how AI is transforming demand generation. Experience building or deploying agentic AI solutions is highly desirable, including systems that autonomously optimize paid campaigns, recommend budget allocation, improve lead routing, identify funnel bottlenecks, and create closed-loop optimization between marketing performance and CRM data.

Success Metrics

  • Net new qualified leads
  • Marketing-sourced pipeline
  • Pipeline contribution to revenue
  • Lead → MQL → SQO conversion rates
  • Pipeline velocity
  • Paid media efficiency and ROI

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing.
  • 5+ years leading high-performing marketing teams.
  • Proven track record driving measurable pipeline and revenue through paid media and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and attribution skills with experience optimizing complex marketing funnels.
  • Experience with modern marketing technology and CRM platforms.
  • Experience applying AI to demand generation workflows; hands-on experience with agentic AI or autonomous marketing systems is a strong plus.
