Job description

About New Western
ย
New Western has been named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work three years in a row (2023, 2024, 2025). We are a leading real estate investment marketplace specializing in sourcing distressed residential properties for investors. Operating in nearly 50 markets across 20 states, our innovative approach revitalizes neighborhoods, creates affordable housing options, and addresses the housing supply crisis. Join us to make a meaningful impact on the real estate market while contributing to a collaborative, mission-driven team.
Role Description

We're looking for a hands-onย Demand Generation Marketing Managerย who thrives at the intersection of strategy, analytics, execution, and people leadership.

This is aย marketing operations and demand generation role - not a creative or brand marketing position.ย The ideal candidate is a business-minded marketer who understands how marketing activity translates into pipeline, revenue, and business results. They are equally comfortable digging into performance data, evaluating how marketing dollars are invested, communicating insights to executive leadership, and rolling up their sleeves to get work done.

Think of this person as aย business athlete and player-coach: highly organized, analytical, collaborative, adaptable, and driven to deliver results. They can zoom out to develop strategy and zoom in to troubleshoot campaign performance, improve processes, manage projects, or coach a team member through execution.

Success in this role requires strong judgment, curiosity, accountability, and the ability to connect marketing performance to broader business priorities across multiple markets. The right person will bring structure to complexity, turn data into decisions, and continuously improve how demand generation programs are planned, measured, and optimized.

If you enjoy analyzing what's working, understanding where marketing dollars are going, building better systems, developing people, and solving problems alongside your team, this role is built for you.

ON-SITE POSITION MON-FRI, IRVING, TX

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and developย a small team of approximately 3-5 marketing professionals, balancing people leadership with hands-on involvement in execution.
  • Own demand generation performanceย across campaigns and initiatives, monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve lead generation, conversion, efficiency, and overall marketing contribution.
  • Dig into marketing performance dataย to understand what is working, what isn't, and why - translating findings into clear actions and recommendations.
  • Evaluate and manage marketing investments, ensuring marketing dollars are allocated thoughtfully based on performance, business priorities, and market-specific needs.
  • Communicate marketing performance and insights to executive leadership, providing clear, concise recommendations that support business and investment decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with senior leadership and teams across the organization to align demand generation priorities with business objectives.
  • Translate strategic priorities intoย clear plans, projects, timelines, owners, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage external marketing partners, agencies, technology providers, and vendors, holding partners accountable for performance and deliverables.
  • Establish and improve marketing processes, systems, reporting, and workflows that increase efficiency, visibility, and accountability.
  • Ensure campaigns and projects are executed accurately, on time, and against defined performance objectives.
  • Remove obstacles and solve problems quickly, while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day work of the team.
  • Balance competing priorities and adapt quickly as business needs, market conditions, and performance data change.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and results.
  • Use data and business context - not assumptions - to make decisions and recommend where marketing resources should be focused.
  • ย
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally with significant exposure to demand generation, marketing operations, performance marketing, or revenue-focused marketing.
  • Demonstrated experienceย leading, coaching, and developing a small teamย while remaining hands-on.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret marketing performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical business recommendations.
  • Experience managingย marketing budgets, investments, campaigns, or programsย and understanding the relationship between spend, performance, and business outcomes.
  • Exceptionalย project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect marketing activity to broader organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability toย present performance, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Comfortable balancingย strategic thinking with detailed, hands-on execution.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to bring structure to complex or evolving environments.
  • Aย results-oriented, accountable mindsetย with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable receiving direct feedback, being coached, and operating in a high-performance, high-accountability environment.
  • Adaptable, resilient, curious, and energized by changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aย high-growth, multi-market, or performance-driven organization.
  • Experience in real estate or a real estate-adjacent business.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, analytics, attribution, reporting, or other marketing technology.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales, operations, finance, or other revenue-focused functions.
  • Graduate-level degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or another related field.
What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means:

  • Marketing performance isย visible, measurable, and understood.
  • Marketing dollars are invested based on data, business priorities, and expected return - not simply historical spending.
  • Executive leadership has clear visibility intoย what marketing is delivering and where opportunities exist.
  • Demand generation programs continuously improve based on performance insights.
  • Projects move forward with clear ownership, accountability, and timelines.
  • The marketing team is well coached, organized, and equipped to deliver.
  • Processes and systems make the team more efficient without adding unnecessary complexity.
  • The organization views marketing as aย strategic business function and measurable growth driver.
