The Demand Generation Marketing Specialist is responsible for the marketing qualified lead (MQL) generation, communications, and promotional materials for WHR Global supporting sales efforts to the external market. Tasked with developing and maintaining marketing strategies and continuing to build the WHR brand through clear and concise messaging on social media, videos, webinars, downloadable assets, proposals, and prospecting materials. This role plays a key part in building and executing marketing strategies that strengthen the WHR brand through clear, compelling messaging across social media, digital campaigns, webinars, proposals, and prospecting materials.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Write email marketing promotions to maximize lead capture for multi-channel demand generation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and key stakeholders to create targeted messaging and content that drives meaningful customer engagement.
  • Build automated marketing email architecture and workflows to inform, educate, and warm leads from an initial awareness stage to a willingness to accept or schedule a sales meeting.
  • Assist in generating marketing assets (i.e., downloadable documents, templates, and industry resources) to be added to the marketing email architecture. Content will be written by a combination of WHR’s subject matter experts (SMEs) and the Demand Generation Marketing Specialist.
  • Recommend which marketing assets, with WHR’s SMEs, should be created next based on website analytics, historical conversion rates, and competitive analysis.
  • Identify and implement innovative tactics to increase website traffic, form submissions, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Use a combination of A/B testing and historical data to optimize messaging and make data-backed recommendations for improvement.
  • You will be responsible for tailoring messaging and content around known persona pain points.
  • Use HubSpot to manage and warm leads:
    • Create targeted e-mail campaigns, study analytics and report performance.
    • Create automated e-mail sequencing using personalization features.
    • CRM segmentation based on existing personas created by WHR.
    • Add, manage, and/or remove contacts from HubSpot (as needed) either manually, through workflow automation, bulk spreadsheets, or utilizing existing software integrations.
  • Align Sales and Marketing efforts to ensure smooth lead hand offs to enhance the prospect experience so the sales team can convert them into clients.
  • Will assist with custom graphics or documents as needed to assist the Sales Department during the Request for Proposal process.
  • Assist in the creation, hosting, and distribution of webinars and marketing videos alongside a WHR SME and external partners as needed.
  • Responsible for all social media postings, primarily scheduling posts from WHR Global’s LinkedIn page.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and regular attendance.
  • Strong written communication with the ability to present information and respond to all levels of an organization; Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential.
  • Critical reasoning and flexible thinking are necessary.
  • Requires a hard-working, positive, and professional individual. Focus on customer service is necessary. Must possess the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-stress fast-paced environment.
  • This position is not eligible for 100% remote capabilities and is required to have face-to-face interactions with colleagues and be on-site in Pewaukee. This position does not offer relocation benefits.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in demand generation, sales automation, and/or Marketing is required.
  • Strong knowledge of growth hacking principles and methodologies, and digital marketing channels.
  • Ability to leverage marketing automation software (HubSpot preferred).
  • Proven experience creating engaging marketing documents in basic design software (Canva preferred).
  • Proven experience in A/B testing, conversion optimization, and B2B marketing.
  • Proficient understanding of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.


This position is hybrid and must be able to report to Pewaukee, WI US Office.
