Are you a hands-on engineer who thrives on building, integrating, and supporting the systems that power real-world impact?
The Michael amp; Susan Dell Foundation is seeking an Engineer, Enterprise amp; Integration Solutions (E amp;IS)โ€”an individual contributor based in Austin, TX. In this role, youโ€™ll design, build, and maintain the enterprise application ecosystem and integration layer that support core foundation operations. Youโ€™ll work directly with Finance, HR, Legal, Operational Excellence, and Program teams across global offices to deliver secure, reliable platforms and integrations that enable measurable business outcomes.
About the Role:
Youโ€™ll be at the center of delivery, collaborating with stakeholders to understand the problem at hand, solving technical challenges, and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. Youโ€™ll own critical integrations, drive projects from requirements through release, and support the platforms that keep our mission moving.
What Youโ€™ll Do
โ€ข Design and build automation and productivity solutions using Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Purview.
โ€ข Architect and maintain integrations with iPaaS (e.g., Boomi), RESTful APIs, and webhooksโ€”defining standards for error handling, observability, and performance.
โ€ข Support and extend enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Agiloft, Workday), ensuring reliability and seamless integration.
โ€ข Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to configure and enhance platforms, aligning with business needs.
โ€ข Lead cross-functional delivery efforts by managing scope, timelines, QA, and risk mitigation for enterprise initiatives.
โ€ข Document and maintain governance frameworks to support consistent execution.
โ€ข Oversee vendor and partner relationships for enterprise platforms and integration services.
โ€ข Promote user adoption and change management through communications, training, and post-release support.
Who You Are
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
โ€ข 4โ€“8 years of direct experience delivering enterprise applications and integrations in matrixed environments.
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and deliver practical solutions.
โ€ข Collaborative communicator who aligns technical and business objectives.
โ€ข Committed to clean, maintainable, and testable configurations and integrations.
โ€ข Customer-focused, composed under pressure, and eager to learn new technologies.
Key Skills and Experience
โ€ข 4+ years building solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (certifications a plus).
โ€ข 3+ years designing and managing RESTful API services and orchestrating integrations.
โ€ข 3+ years with secure development practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and production support.
โ€ข 2+ years leading structured planning and documentation across cross-functional initiatives.
