Title: Delivery Merchandiser Driver (DM)

FLSA Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt

Salary Range:$50,000 - $65,000 annually

Job Summary:

The Delivery Merchandiser (DM) is responsible to run an assigned route. The DM provides Direct Store Delivery (DSD) service to all channels of customers. Primary function is delivery and distribution of all products on an assigned route within prescribed timelines. Deliver, merchandise and unload pre-sold orders; check product quantities for accuracy; assure product is rotated properly safeguarding against past dated products available to consumers; and maintain paperwork. DM's manage customer expectations regarding delivery and receiving instructions, and back room storage and effectively communicate with Territory Sales Managers and Delivery Merchandiser Managers with any opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Making route deliveries to convenience stores, grocery stores, schools and other customers.
  • Coordinating stocking and proper merchandising of product in stores.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting, standing, bending, lifting and carrying products
  • Must be able to frequently lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to grip a minimum of 45 lbs. with each hand

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED equivalent.
  • 1 - 3 years of general work experience required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver's License (Class C) with a minimum of 5 years driving experience, clean driving record with no moving violations over the past 3 years.
  • No major driving convictions including DUI/DWI, reckless driving or at-fault fatal accident.
  • Must have basic computer skills including ability to use computer ordering equipment.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations.
  • No visible tattoos or piercings permitted while in the workplace
  • Smoke- & Vape-Free Workplace
  • Contingent upon the successful completion of a company-initiated and approved background check and motor vehicle report (MVR), drug screen, physical, and human performance evaluation (HPE)
