A key challenge in this role is balancing efficient route management with maintaining positive relationships with store personnel and adhering to strict delivery schedules. You’ll also spend time restocking products, rotating inventory, and setting up promotional materials. Collaboration with sales representatives and store managers is common to ensure optimal product placement and to address inventory needs. Familiarity with handheld inventory devices, route navigation systems, and occasionally warehouse management software is typically required.
