What does a CDL B Driver, Equipment Delivery do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Visit customers to deliver, install, remove, and move Coca-Cola beverage equipment within assigned geography; along with any other duties assigned to you in the Service department. Works under limited supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, remove, and move glass door coolers, vending machines, and fountain dispensers. Load, unload, and move equipment at designated locations.
  • Transport equipment to and from customer/other Swire locations in assigned geography.
  • Effective and professional interaction with customers, Swire leadership and associates.
  • Manage truck inventory (product, materials, and equipment) compared to load-out report. Manage return inventory compared to load-in report.
  • By use of handheld device; document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity.
  • Resolve minor technical/operational issues with equipment. Diagnosis, repair if necessary, and clean equipment in an orderly sequence ensuring equipment is fully functional for customer use.
  • Maintain accurate materials (parts and supplies) inventory. Maintain assigned equipment and vehicle.
  • Attend meetings as assigned.
  • Assist with special projects and events as assigned
  • Assist other associates as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • Interstate License required
  • Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
  • Must be able to learn/demonstrate proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license, Class B required, Class A CDL preferred
  • Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of process
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customer, clients and team members
