The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Strategic Growth- Consulting in either our Washington, DC or New York office. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Growth Consulting and works closely with the Group and Business Unit Leaders and various recruiting committees to execute a national recruiting strategy with a specific focus on Consulting. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the annual strategic growth plan, including providing leadership and vision for the recruiting/sourcing strategy and approach.
  • Develop relationships with Group and Business Unit (BU) leaders and gather details related to business plans and talent gaps to develop job requirements and build candidate pipelines.
  • Design and implement scalable recruiting strategies to meet current and future hiring needs.
  • Manage and actively participate in all aspects of the Firm's recruiting efforts, including conducting initial phone screens and overseeing the interview, evaluation, business justification, offer, and onboarding processes (working closely with Hiring Partners and Talent Management).
  • Source and screen candidates for an overall firm, skill, and substantive knowledge match to the requirements for each role.
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives and ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to brand and market the firm to diverse top talent including quarterly recruiting newsletter, recruiting brochures, outreach emails, and the recruiting pages of the website.
  • Collaboration and coordination with other departments to successfully recruit, onboard and integrate candidates.
  • Lead, manage, coach and mentor recruiting staff responsible for all aspects of the recruiting stream assigned including providing work direction with clear performance expectations, measures for accountability, professional development opportunities, and contribute to the performance review process.
  • Research lateral target candidates and monitor sources for information about candidates, peer firms, market activity, industry trends, and other information relevant to lateral recruiting.
  • Work closely with the Director of Diversity & Inclusion to drive efforts to actively recruit diverse candidates at the firm.
  • Assist with additional Strategic Growth projects as assigned/needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8 + years of recruiting experience required.
  • Proven experience recruiting within a professional services consulting environment, preferably health care professional services, is required.
  • Experience interfacing with leaders and hiring managers regarding recruitment is required.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and direct sourcing of candidates is required.
  • Experience managing and mentoring others is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Other Qualifications (including but not limited to):
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and client service oriented: can effectively interface with attorneys and consultants at all levels, staff, school administrators, and recruiters.
  • Able to effectively communicate your work, clearly delegate tasks to others, and mentor junior level team members towards growth and success.
  • Strong organizational/attention to detail skills: accurate, precise, and follows up regularly and appropriately.
  • Able to prioritize workload and multi-task.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, works collaboratively, and is a team player.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information/matters.
  • Strong technical and computer skills: proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
  • Experience working with Teams or other collaboration tools is required.
  • Experience with viDesktop and/or a web-based Applicant Tracking System required.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $120,000-$152,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience and location. A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
