Inside Sales Representative - Fire Protection Services
Location: Medford, MA (On-Site)
Department: Sales & Customer Success
Reports To: Sales Manager

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and processing quotes for fire safety deficiencies identified during inspections within an assigned territory. This role involves reviewing technician submissions, preparing detailed customer quotes, and following up with clients to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in the fire protection industry, and the ability to meet monthly sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate deficiency reports submitted by field technicians within the assigned territory.
  • Prepare and process accurate and detailed quotes for materials, labor, and services in accordance with FEI pricing and policies.
  • Obtain vendor and distributor pricing for parts, materials, and subcontracted services as needed.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to present quotes, answer questions, and close sales.
  • Ensure all quotes are followed up within 24-48 hours of delivery to maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, service, and dispatch teams to ensure accurate scheduling and timely project completion.
  • Close approved deficiency opportunities, generate work orders, and monitor status to completion.
  • Track and achieve individual and team sales quotas on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain accurate records within the company's CRM system (Salesforce preferred) and ensure all customer data is up to date.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
Qualifications
  • Fire protection or life safety industry experience required.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, estimating, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales and meet monthly quotas.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
