NC State University is seeking a qualified Temporary Benefits Deductions Specialist to support our Team during a transitional period. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong payroll and accounting skills, and familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft is highly preferred.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering benefit-related payroll deductions (health, retirement, disability, etc.), performing data reconciliations, preparing remittance files, and resolving discrepancies with vendors and payroll. You will also support employee inquiries through our HR Now case management system, ensuring timely and accurate service.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team that supports over 10,000 employees across the university. We're looking for someone who can step in quickly, work collaboratively, and help maintain operational continuity.
