Job description

Clean Team Facility Services is searching for a responsible and dedicated landscape maintenance tech to join our team. You will perform a range of property maintenance duties including applying fertilizers, maintaining the landscape design, removing weeds and dead plants, and performing minor repairs.
As the maintenance tech, you will ensure the growth and vibrancy of our trees, plants, shrubs, and landscape structures. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
  • Remove weeds and unwanted growth throughout properties leaving a clean and manicured appearance.
  • Police property for trash and foreign debris.
  • Clear all walkways, sidewalks and entry ways of rocks, dirt and trash.
  • Power blow designated areas to leave a clean appearance.
  • Inspect all watering sprinkler systems ensure that they are in good and operable order.
  • Apply fertilizer to help enhance growth of trees and shrubs.
  • Trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves.
  • Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth.
  • Observe all areas, ensuring there is no safety hazards present. Report any that need to be addressed to your manager.
  • Coordinate with garden designers and landscape architects to ensure the garden meets the client's expectations when needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role.
  • Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
  • Strong knowledge and basic lawn maintenance.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Good stamina and physical health.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
