Job description

DecisionPoint is seeking experienced Force Readiness Personnel to support the U.S. Air Force by maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of readiness reporting for Cyber Protection Teams. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring readiness data entered into the Joint Cyber Command and Control – Readiness (JCC2-R) system and other reporting platforms is complete, accurate, and up to date. You'll work closely with Group-level Current Operations (CUOPS) and Future Operations (FUOPS) offices, as well as coordinate directly with squadron personnel to resolve discrepancies and ensure leadership has an accurate picture of Cyber Protection Team readiness. The position also involves preparing and delivering readiness briefings to Group, Wing, and Numbered Air Force leadership, making strong communication, coordination, and attention to detail essential for success.

The positions will be at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA-Lackland) in San Antonio, Texas.


  • Monitor and review squadron data inputs into mandated systems (e.g., DRRS, JCC2-R, and DCAPES).

  • Identify discrepancies and prepare validated readiness data packages to ensure the government can meet deadlines and standards.

  • Analyze and synthesize manning, training, and equipment data to build a clear, "big picture" assessment dashboard of the Group’s capabilities for leadership review.

  • Conduct predictive analysis to evaluate how proposed future missions, deployments, and other taskings will impact overall force readiness.

  • Highlight potential risks and capability shortfalls for leadership review.

  • Compile readiness data and draft analytical inputs for Commander's estimates.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations regarding the readiness implications of various courses of action (COAs) to support government strategic decision-making.

  • Maintain and update the Group's master force schedule and deployment trackers.

  • Draft deconfliction plans to balance operational taskings with training requirements, aiming for a sustainable operational tempo.

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to the Plans section regarding force-to-mission pairing, providing detailed, up-to-date data on team readiness and availability.

  • Facilitate liaison activities between the Group, the Wing, and Higher Headquarters (HHQ) on readiness matters.

  • Attend readiness boards and working groups in an advisory and data-support capacity to assist government representatives.


Clearance Required:
      • TS/SCI

Required Skills:


• Must be responsive and able to interact with the users
• Experience in a customer-facing role and excellent customer service skills
• Proven ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Proven ability to manage their schedule, meet deadlines, schedule meetings, etc.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Experience monitoring/responding to support requests submitted to a ticketing system

Preferred Skills/ Qualifications:


• Experience as a Unit Deployment Manager
• Familiarization with DoD structure and terms
• Familiarization with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and Joint Cyber Command and Control Reporting (JCC2-R)
• Familiarization with Status of Resources and Training System (SORTS)
• Familiarization with Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
• Familiarization with Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) Reporting Tool (ART)

Additional Requirements:


• Must complete training associated with position as defined by the customer
• Occasional travel may be required
• Positions available at JBSA-Lackland, Texas
