Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Sr. Function Analyst SAP P2P based in Chicago, IL.


As a Sr. Function Analyst, SAP P2P, the role will carry out responsibilities for the process areas Procurement and Materials Management processes for our SAP platforms. The role includes, but is not limited to solution design, process improvements, alignment of solutions with business teams, validation of solutions against business requirements, confirmation of integration points of SAP modules and external systems. Additionally, the Sr. Function Analyst, SAP P2P will collaborate with various IT and business stakeholders in Industrial, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and IT Integration teams to align duties with the company's goals and values.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Strong hands-on SAP P2P functional experience primarily in "Procurement" processes.
  • Strong ability to conduct business meetings to understand As-Is business processes, preparing the high-level Design Documents Mapping Templates, Business requirement document, process flows and Solution Summaries.
  • Experience in creating Functional specifications to develop custom Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms and Workflow.
  • Support the Procurement (Direct & Indirect), Material Inventory, MRP, STOs, Subcontracting, Intercompany, and EDI integrations, (COMAN desirable).
  • Deep understanding of Warehouse Management (WM/EWM desirable) include shipping, adjustments, pick/pack, and inbound/outbound flows
  • Ensure deep functional integration between MM, EWM, PP, QM and other modules including PM, SD, FI/CO.
  • Functional experience in INTRA and INTER company Stock transfer orders.
  • 2+ full cycle S/4 HANA green/brown implementations following global template approach with minor localizations.
  • Managed enhancement requests intake for customized reports/processes/quote gathering and discussion with business partners and senior management.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

  • Bachelor's degree is required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management or related field.
  • 3+ years Strong Functional Experience in P2P, Material Management area is required.
  • Hands-on P2P process experience within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA (application and configuration) for global project implementations; food industry experience preferred.
  • Ensure P2P business requirements across Material Management and related functions are translated into detailed functional specifications, Configure and test system processes; troubleshoot, document, and resolve system-related issues.
  • Knowledge of SAP Materials Management /MM is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP output types and IDOC types related to Material Management, shipments, invoices, purchase orders, etc. is required.
  • Knowledge of integration points and techniques between sales with other SAP components, such as finance and logistics, as well as 3rd party applications is required.
  • Knowledge of Material Management processes are required.
  • Knowledge of integration points with SAP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, transportation planning are required.
