We're looking for a motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team! This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes initiative, and can work independently while providing exceptional support to our field and office staff. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter who takes ownership of issues, manages priorities effectively, and is always looking for ways to improve the user experience.

This is an onsite position in Greenwood, IN.

Hours: (M-TH) 8am-5pm and (F) 8am-3pm, rotating on call schedule

Location: Onsite in Greenwood, IN

Rate: $60K to $70K/year (DOE)

This position will work under the IT Manager and will primarily be responsible for:

  • Managing and prioritizing the IT support ticket queue while ensuring timely resolution
  • Providing first and second-level technical support for field and office staff
  • Troubleshooting Windows computers, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, mobile devices, and business software
  • Providing remote support to users across multiple locations
  • Imaging, configuring, deploying, and maintaining desktop and laptop computers
  • Configuring and supporting company-issued mobile phones and tablets
  • Diagnosing and resolving printer, peripheral, and hardware issues
  • Performing basic network troubleshooting
  • Monitoring EDR for security alerts and escalating security concerns as needed
  • Maintaining and tracking accurate inventory of IT and dental equipment
  • Assisting with IT infrastructure projects and technology initiatives
  • Identifying recurring issues and recommending process improvements to reduce support requests

Technical Support Specialist Job Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum two years of Help Desk or IT Support experience
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications (preferred)

Technical Support Specialist ideal candidate will possess skills in:

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requests independently
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
  • Experience providing remote support to end users
  • Experience deploying and supporting Windows computers and peripherals
  • Experience supporting printers, scanners, and office equipment
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and switching
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other Mobile Device Management (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Microsoft 365 administration (preferred)
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow issues through to completion
