Senior Services Adult Day Program Supervisor (40 hours weekly)LCCC is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Services Adult Day Program Supervisor for Be Our Guest Adult Day Program in Livingston County.PURPOSE OF POSITION:To supervise and coordinate the development and daily operation of the senior-serving program: Be Our Guest Adult Day. The program is specifically designed for individuals with cognitive impairments, primarily Alzheimer's disease and Dementia. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Be Our Guest Adult Day program assistants. The supervisor conducts new participant assessments and works closely with family caregivers for program care plan goals. Also assists the Director of Senior Services with programming policies/procedures and reporting.QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, or other human service areas. Preference for a master's degree in social work, gerontology, or another human service area. Or a minimum of five years' experience in senior services, with a minimum of two years supervisory experience in a human service or social service setting.Additional: Must understand the needs of the elderly population (Alzheimer's disease and Dementia preferred) and an awareness of special concerns/problems that may arise as a part of the caregiver's role.
