Job description

SWJ Technology specializes in providing engineering, planning, and project management services across various industries. New and additional product offerings and services require a new position with experience in sales, especially new customer acquisition. For this Cold Calling Sales Specialist, based in Tuscaloosa, AL but flexible schedule and some remote-office opportunity, SWJ is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and goal-oriented Sales Specialist with Cold Calling experience. PURPOSE: 
Experienced Cold Calling Sales Specialist to make high-volume outbound calls and actively sell our products and services. The ideal candidate is confident, resilient, results-driven, and skilled at closing deals over the phone, preferably with a technical or automotive background.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make hundreds of outbound cold calls daily to potential customers
  • Present and sell our services and products in a clear, persuasive manner
  • Identifying customer needs and convert leads into sales opportunities
  • Handle objections professionally and confidently
  • Maintain accurate call records and update CRM systems regularly
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A completed secondary school diploma (high school diploma or equivalent)
  • A technical or commercial education 
  • Strong sales experience is proven
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proven experience in cold calling or high-volume outbound sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills over the phone
  • Comfortable making a large number of calls every day
  • Persistent, resilient, and results-driven personality
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with potential customers
  • Ideally a background in technical or automotive industries
  • Strong ability to SELL, not just communicate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work is normally performed in an office but is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable to work on computer and headset / phone for extended time.
  • Very good English / Communication skills
  • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:
  • Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
  • Schedule: Full Time/, 40 hours per week
  • Overtime: as required
  • Assignment Start: ASAP
